The following are personal vocabulary words for teaching The Cove lesson.
日本の政府 – にほんおせいふ – The Japanese government
禁ずる – きんずる – forbid
倫理的 – りんりてき – ethical
監督 – かんとく – filmmakers/director
There are some English words on the worksheet that I want to use, but so many students ask me the meaning, so I try to prepare myself.
I also learned the interesting word 正々堂々 or せいせいどうどう, which sounds funny and means, I guess “fair and square?”
Shall I post more often about learning Japanese? It doesn’t carry much meaning to my friends in America who read this blog. Let me assure you: I am a super beginner at Japanese and these are just a few big words that I happen to know now.
