I love that Robert Crumb really doesn’t give a fuck. In all of his interviews (like this one with Francoise Moully or this one) he’s totally irreverent and and this is so refreshing. For example, in the Moully panel, he says, “Genesis? Come on, it’s very primitive morality, you know, it’s tribal. If you’re gonna use that for moral guidance, I think you’re gonna be in trouble!” This coming from a guy who’s promoting the book! However, he says, “I have not got one single, like, truly hostile religious reaction at all so far.” Good for Crumb!
