Today, a lot of nice things happened. It’s the beginning of the official spring break so a lot of teachers are out of the office and the ALT’s can do whatever.

1. I cleaned my bicycle frame in the parking lot. Soon I’m going to take it apart and clean out all the greasy parts. There are a lot of parts that I have never removed and I need to figure out how.
2. I rode my bicycle to the shop (Sanwa Cycles) to get a lesson, but they were closed. I’ll go back later in the week. It was fine, though, because I got a nice ride in beautiful weather with no stress, down small streets and briefly on a main road. This is a good lunch break.
3. I actually got lesson planning done for a cool unit that I’ll blog about later.
4. I mailed a lot of packages to the United States. One is a present that’s over a year late, one is a pack of presents that are 3 months late, and one is a birthday present for my sister that should barely make it on time.
5. I hung out with a bunch of cool students, who are always getting smarter, it’s great.
6. I made tacos for dinner and ate them with chips, salsa, and a Corona.
Also, it is the first day of the year that I saw sakura blossoms. We have a few trees at the front gate at Naruo that will become so beautiful in another week or two.
